If the answer is yes, we have what you need: our holiday home De Smishoeve has everything you need, it is located on a farm very well located and removed from the crowds. We grow vegetables and fruits and we also raise pigs in a way that respects nature to maintain harmony and the gifts it offers us. You can therefore consume very fresh and organic local products for breakfasts or for the barbecue. De Smishoeve is the perfect place to spend a relaxing stay whether with family or a group of friends or alone to get well-being in the company of nature. Make yourself comfortable around a campfire , or play games in the games room for young and old, make your own pizza... There is also a private garden/terrace and parking next to your cottage. The Smishoeve has 4 houses at your disposal and a covered wagon decorated in all its beauty, ideal for a couple to spend an unforgettable moment. You can go out in the beautiful neighbourhood or choose to stay on site. You will never be bored, because to enhance the experience, you can upgrade your stay quite permanently with a chosen package. This involves a small cost per person, which you pay on the spot.
The "Wellness Package", includes the barrel sauna and for the guests of the house for 8 people there is also a hot-tub on their terrace. =Cost 10€ per person/day ( minimum 20€ max 100€)
The "children's fun package" includes the use of the go-cars, games room(darts, table football, 20 Flemish folk games, board games, arcade game console with 2100 games from the 80's-90's), playground (swing trampoline slide, sand), animal pasture( chickens ducks, turkeys, pigs and piglets), children's bikes, petanque game, outdoor games, board games and numerous children's toys.

If you choose the "fire package", you can light a fire at your home and bake pizzas in the outdoor oven.

The "Indoor package" speaks for itself, with this you can indulge in all the games in the playroom such as darts, table football, 20 Flemish folk games, board games, arcade game console with 2100 games from the 80s-90s... . This package also includes the use of the gatehouse, where you can sit with 20 people, eat together, have meetings... .

If you would like breakfast composed with our own farm products, you can ask for this. The farm also sells vegetable packs and home-grown pork, as well as farm products.
Batsheers is a piece of paradise in the Flemish region of Belgium, more precisely, it is 23 km from Liège and 12 km from Sint Truiden. It is a pleasant, quiet and beautiful village with about 100 inhabitants. However, there are shops and boutiques nearby (5 minutes by car). If you are a fan of outdoor activities, you will not be disappointed because around De Smishoeve there are many pedestrian routes for hikers but also cycle routes. What's better than breathing a breath of fresh air and having a view of a picturesque landscape when opening the door? Haspengouw is a fruit region and you will find many local specialties there. You can also visit wine estates like the Wilderen brewery or the “Bink” brewery. Are you passionate about stories? Would you like to dive into medieval stories to feed your general culture? You can indulge yourself by going sightseeing and picnicking at Heers Castle on the weekends or eating something at La Motte Castle or exploring Ordingen Castle.
